Live Simulation

Multi-Pass Air Filtration Demo

Air recirculates through the HVAC system (grey block), where pathogens (red) are removed each time they pass through the filter, leaving clean air (blue). The panel turns green when the model reaches the theoretical limit of 100% filtration. The blue timer displays elapsed time, and each panel represents the performance of a different MERV filter.

HVAC Standard: 6 air exchanges per hour

Single Pass Length: 60 min / 6 air exchanges per hour = 10 min

Time Formula: Time to 100% filtration = passes × 10 minutes

The Process

01

Coating Application

Our proprietary ablative polymer coating, ViSTAT™, is applied to standard filter media during manufacturing using industry-standard spray equipment.

02

Particle Contact

As contaminated air passes through the filter, aerosolized particles make contact with the ViSTAT coating.

03

Optimized Capture

The ablative polymer coating is engineered to enhance the structural integrity of conventional filter media, extending filter life and maintaining consistent airflow performance.

04

Clean Air Delivery

Filtered air is delivered downstream with no reduction in airflow, no increase in energy consumption, and no harmful byproducts.
